Konnichiwa
Well CJ did a GREAT job last week when in Japan and found just what we were looking for. We will soon be renting/living in a 2 story duplex in the Motomachi area of Yokohama. It is about 1300 sq feet sits on a bluff above Yokohama harbor with a city park at the end of the street. We are about a 5-10 minute walk from Chinatown, high end shopping district, train station, more city parks and many a school.Yeah Kids!!! :-)
The house has a little patio area and Japanese Garden out back and then 62 stairs down the bluff out our back gate to shopping. I guess I will have my own "Japanese Stairmaster", and looks as if I am bound to get in shape or really tired?!
The house has an Entry (genken), kitchen, dining/living room, tatami room "relaxation" ,bath, powder room on 1st floor. Second floor has master bedroom w/ balcony, powder room, nook-office room and a 2nd tatami-"guest room" w/screen porch balcony-"solarium-green house"? and views of Yokohama, trees and the harbor. We are very excited to get there and will be headed that way July 8th.
First CJ and I are off to get Grambo in Sweden and do the Pub Crawl 2008 through Orebro, Dublin, London, Olso, Harstad and Stockholm.
