All Our Bags are packed and We're getting ready to go

Hi all
Well it has been a bit crazy here of late and we are enjoying a week with both kids home, trying to pack and regroup... Last weekend we were in Chetek for AJ's Miss Chetek pagent and enjoyed Gigantic grasshoppers after to celebrate her getting ambassador role. The next day we ended up getting Grandpa Harley to the hospital for X-rays after he fell and they thought his hip was broken. Luckily he only had a bad bruise, but possibly something wrong with his vertebrate? More tests needed...He is getting very frail and losing lots of weight.:-(

We then came back home to MN and picked Kalen up from the airport. She is relaxing and seeing friends this week after a few busy weeks of studying and taking tests. Graham too is enjoying visiting with friends after being gone for 5 months.

Yesterday I attended a lovely memorial service for Dr Don Watson. The founder of IHS and HTS the 2 organizations I go to Honduras to help, and which have changed my life. He was an amazing man, who helped so many with his compassion, service and love for others. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Today the movers came and boxed up 17 boxes of clothes, linens, books, office supplies and few kitchen items to send over to Japan. That felt good to get all that out of here and on its way. This move really is going to happen...

CJ is out with some of the neighbor guys for their annual El Toro golf tournament today and tonight. It is a beautiful sunny day here in MN, so I am sure they are enjoying themselves. Tonight the kids and I will go enjoy a concert by nephew Stafford's girlfriend Paige and her band Danny Jack Fiasco at the Fine Line in MN.

The rest of the week we hope to hang out as a family of 4 and play games, see movies and just be with one another before we all go our seperate ways again. 4th of July we will have a BBque and gather with our culd de sac neighbors for some last good byes and then Saturday Kalen heads back to Chicago, we take Graham back up to Duluth and then CJ and I head out July 8th for Tokyo.
We are looking forward to our adventure...more soon form Yokohama and environs
